Go pottery of the Cham ethnic people in Binh Duc village (Phan Hiep commune, Bac Binh district of the central province of Binh Thuan) is known as handmade products with unique natural colors and patterns. The name of Go pottery is derived from the word "Gok", which means pot in Cham language. Cham pottery products are mainly household utensils, worship objects, and handicrafts such as jars (called “jek”), pots (gok), food trays (cambak), and vases (bilaok), demonstrating the skills and the creativity of Cham women. The finished pottery products have a light red color with special and natural patterns, making them distinctive from items made by other localities. In late 2022, the art of pottery making of Cham ethnic people was inscribed in the list of intangible cultural heritages in need of urgent safeguarding by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
