The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) has reported its oil output of 2.6 million tonnes and gas output of 1.97 million cu.m in the first quarter of this year, 12.6 percent and 17.6 percent, respectively, higher than the set targets. The group earned 193.7 trillion VND (8.27 billion USD) in revenue in the period and contributed 29.8 trillion VND (1.27 billion USD) to the State budget, exceeding 17 percent and 21 percent, respectively, of the set targets.
