Nine lighthouses shine sovereignty over Truong Sa Archipelago

There are nine lighthouses operating on Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelago's islands, namely Son Ca (Sand Cay), Nam Yet (Namyit), Sinh Ton (Sin Cowe), Da Lat (Ladd Reef), Da Tay (West Ree), An Bang (Amboyna Cay), Song Tu Tay (Southwest Cay), Tien Nu (Tennent Reef) and Truong Sa (Spratly). Managed by the Southern Vietnam Maritime Safety Corporation, the lighthouses diligently shine every night to support and guide ships passing through the area. In addition to the task of ensuring maritime safety in the surrounding waters, the lighthouses are working as an endless source of encouragement for people and soldiers to protect Vietnam’s sea and island sovereignty.
