A meeting hosted by the Hanoi People’s Committee took place at Ly Thai To flower garden near Hoan Kiem Lake on July 13 to celebrate 20 years since Hanoi was recognised as a “City for peace” by UNESCO (July 16, 1999). At this event, nearly 10,000 artists and people joined a street festival and a walk for peace on Hanoi’s pedestrian streets around the Hoan Kiem Lake. VNA Photo
