Fish sauce is a speciality of Vietnam which is often made from anchovies, salt and water. It is usually used in moderation because it is intensely flavored. If Phu Quoc fish sauce is considered to be the most well-known specialty of Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang province), then Cat Hai fish sauce is one of the most famous products of Cat Hai Island (Haiphong).
