Construction of the second phase of the Sao Mai Solar Power Plant in Tinh Bien district, in the Mekong Delta’s An Giang province, got underway on September 15, with a capacity of 106 MWp and investment of over 3 trillion VND (129.5 million USD). Invested by the Sao Mai Group and constructed by Sterling Wilson - India’s leading group in renewable energy - the Sao Mai Solar Power Plant has been included in the adjusted Power Planning VII.
