Vietnamese lawmakers are calling for a round-the-clock hotline with neighbouring countries to help track and disrupt transnational drug networks, warning that large trafficking rings moving narcotics from the Golden Triangle into Việt Nam are growing more sophisticated and violent.

According to Government Decree 303, dated November 19, a ministry consists of departments and the equivalent; the office (if any); the inspectorate (if any); bureaus and the equivalent (if any) and public non-business units.

The criminals use highly sophisticated methods to conceal drugs, mixing them into civilian cargo shipments and exploiting favorable customs procedures and e-commerce policies for transportation.
