Vietnamese State President Lương Cường affirmed that Việt Nam continues to implement a consistent foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, and multilateralism and diversification of international relations, including attaching importance to developing its friendship and cooperation with Peru.

State President Lương Cường proposed the Peruvian judiciary to actively create favourable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to increase investment in the country, and coordinate with the Vietnamese side to strengthen coordination at inter-regional and international judicial forums.
