The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has warned shrimp farmers to remain calm and refrain from selling large batches of whitelegged shrimp which have been dropping in price.

The European Union (EU) market was the largest export market of Vietnamese shrimp in the first quarter of this year, according to Việt Nam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).
