More than 500 young people of Hanoi participated in a central-level flag salute ceremony named “I Love My Fatherland,” organised by the Vietnam Youth Federation on August 16 at Van Xuan garden (Hang Dau post). The flag salute ceremony was simultaneously held at six other locations across the country: Hang Duong Cemetery (Con Dao special zone) and Thu Ngu Flagpole in Ho Chi Minh City; Tri-border Marker at Vietnam–Laos–Cambodia Friendship Cultural House in Quang Ngai province; Mui Doi – Hon Dau in Khanh Hoa province; Lung Cu Flagpole in Tuyen Quang province; and Ca Mau Cape Flagpole in Ca Mau province. Alongside the central-level activity, the Vietnam Youth Federation's chapters across the country simultaneously organised the “I Love My Fatherland” flag salute ceremony in all 34 provinces and cities, with 3,334 locations at communes, wards, towns, and affiliated units.
