The women’s union of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan showcased some of Vietnam's traditional products at a charity fair held by the Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) in Tokyo on April 23. The event was one of the ALFS’s biggest annual activities, aiming to raise funds in support of women and children in ALFS member countries, popularise the countries' images, and increase cultural exchanges. This year, the fair featured 23 booths from embassies in Tokyo and 22 others from Japanese localities and enterprises. It saw the participation of the spouse of Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, Princess Hitachinomiya Hanako, ALFS President Mariko Nakasone, and ambassadors and their spouses.
