Vietnam’s fisheries sector has seen a 3.1% year-on-year increase in total output, reaching an estimated 5.5 million tonnes from the beginning of 2025 to date, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. Following a strong rebound in the first half, the industry is striving to meet its full-year export target of 10.5 billion USD, a 4.3% increase from 2024. Having already earned 5.16 billion USD, it faces the critical task of generating over 5.4 billion USD in the second half. VNA Photo: Huỳnh Anh
