Acknowledging Germany’s serious challenges stemming from population ageing and an acute shortage of skilled workers, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vu Chien Thang has emphasised that labour cooperation between Vietnam and Germany is strategically complementary and mutually beneficial. Thang made the remarks at the Vietnam–Germany Labour Cooperation Forum held in Leipzig on December 9 by the Vietnam Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of Germany (BMAS) and Leipzig authorities.
