Border guard stations in the northern province of Lang Son coordinated with Chinese border forces and local authorities to conduct a legal awareness campaign for residents living along the shared border from November 7–10. During the four-day programme, thousands of leaflets were distributed, covering topics such as border management agreements and protocols, the agreement on regulations for management of the Vietnam–China land border, immigration and customs laws, border gate management, and measures to combat smuggling and trade fraud, as well as the importance of safeguarding national sovereignty and border security.
