Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Le Hoai Trung and Tuvaluan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Labour, and Trade Paulson Panapa signed a joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries on September 24 (US time).
