Vietnam attracted 35.46 billion USD in total foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2018, equivalent to 98.8 percent of the previous year’s figure. FDI concentrated mainly in 18 industries and sectors, including the processing and manufacturing industry with 16.58 billion USD or 46.7 percent of the total. Disbursed FDI this year hit 19.1 billion USD, an increase of 9.1 percent over the previous year. VNA Photo: Danh Lam
