Vietnam beat Malaysia 3-1 in the final match of Group F of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers on March 31 evening at Thien Truong Stadium, Ninh Binh province. The match ended with Vietnam winning 3-0 thanks to goals from Duy Manh (6th minute) and Xuan Son (51st and 59th minutes). Malaysia narrowed the score to 1-3 from a penalty kick.
