Vietnam aims to increase export turnover by 6% by 2024

The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) aims to increase total export turnover in 2024 by about 6% compared to 2023 and maintain a trade surplus of about 15 billion USD for the ninth consecutive year. The country's exports in 2023 was estimated at 355.5 billion USD, down 4.4% year on year. However, the country achieved a record-breaking trade surplus of 28 billion USD, significantly surpassing the figure of 12.1 billion USD recorded the previous year. VNA Photo: Thu Hiền
