The Van Phong economic zone in the southcentral province of Khanh Hoa will be developed into a dynamic economic hub under a master plan moving forward 2040, with a vision towards 2050. The Van Phong EZ, one of three key economic zones of Khanh Hoa province, covers an area of around 150,000 ha, including over 79,100 ha of land and more than 70,800 ha of islands. Under the master plan, the Van Phong dynamic economic hub will feature an international container port, a smart and sustainable urban area, as well as an international maritime tourism and service centre in the future. It will be divided into 19 subdivisions covering 75.166 ha of land and island for developing maritime seaports, logistics, urban areas and resort services. VNA Photo: Huy Hùng
