Vietnam's trade surplus was estimated at 2.03 billion USD in the first quarter this year, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO). The total merchandise import-export turnover in Q1 reached 152.65 billion USD, up 24.1 percent over the same period last year. The export turnover increased 22 percent to reach 77.34 billion USD while the import turnover was 75.31 billion USD, up 26.3 percent in the first quarter. VNA Photo
