Solemn Flag-Raising Ceremony Marks 81st National Day

A solemn flag-raising ceremony was held at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi on the morning of September 2, 2026, to mark the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945–2026) and the National Day (September 2, 1945-2026). From early morning, large numbers of people gathered at the square, joining the solemn moment as the national flag was raised in front of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on the occasion of National Day.
