SEA Games 31: Vietnam pockets four golds on Taekwondo’s first day of competitions

The Vietnam team opened the first day of competitions in Taekwondo on May 16 with impressive results. After competing in 5 different events, the Vietnam team brought home a total of 4 golds on the first day. First gold was won in the Freestyle Poomsae event, mixed team category, followed by men’s team Standard Poomsae event. The third gold was won in the Standard Poomsae event, women’s team category, while the fourth gold was bagged by athlete Pham Quoc Viet in Standard Poomsae men’s individual category. Athlete Kim Uyen also brought home a silver medal in Standard Poomsae women’s individual category. VNA Photo
