Thailand (in blue) defeated Malaysia (in yellow) 6-2 in the opening match of the men’s futsal in the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) which took place at the Ha Nam Gymnasium, the northern province of Ha Nam, 60km south of Hanoi. The men’s futsal tournament will last till May 20 with the competition of five teams, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar, in the round-robin format. This is the fifth time the men’s futsal is included in the regional biennial championship’s schedule of competition with Thailand winning the title four times. VNA Photo: Thanh Tùng
