The Vietnam War Veterans’ Association in Germany’s Berlin/Brandenburg metropolitan region on July 21 held a ceremony to commemorate the 77th War Invalids’ and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-2024), and a requiem for fallen soldiers. This is one of the activities that demonstrate the traditional values of filial piety and philanthropy, and the respect and gratitude of the Vietnamese people in general and overseas Vietnamese in particular, for those who sacrificed their lives and shed their blood and bones for the independence of the Fatherland.
