The Ministry of Public Security on January 9 held a ceremony in Thuong Duc commune, Da Nang city, to review the “Quang Trung Campaign,” under which the force swiftly built and repaired houses for families whose homes were destroyed or severely damaged by natural disasters in the central and Central Highlands regions. More than 11,000 policemen from nine central and Central Highlands provinces were mobilised, alongside thousands of grassroots security personnel. In addition, 300 mobile police officers and cadets from public security academies were deployed to directly assist local residents. According to reports, the force built 419 new houses for families whose homes had collapsed, while repairing infrastructure in Ha Tinh, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong.
