In the early days of 2026, farmers in the shrimp-rice farming areas of Ca Mau province are busy with harvest. For the 2025-2026 rice crop on shrimp farming land, the entire province of Ca Mau has planted over 90,000 hectares, including over 47,000 hectares in the North Ca Mau region, concentrated in the communes of Vinh Phuoc, Phuoc Long, Hong Dan, Vinh Loc, and Ninh Thanh Loi; and over 43,000 hectares in the South Ca Mau region, including the communes of Bien Bach, Tri Phai, U Minh, and Khanh An. Many early-sown areas have already been harvested with fairly high yields, and the remaining rice crops are ripening, promising a successful harvest. VNA Photo: Chanh Đa
