Shakyamuni Buddha relics - recognised as a National Treasure of India - have been enshrined at Tam Chuc Pagoda in the northernprovince of Hà Nam as from May 17. A ceremonial procession was held by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha on the day to transfer the Buddha's relics from Quan Su Pagoda in Hanoi to Tam Chuc Pagoda, where the relics are eshrined for public viewing and veneration until May 21 before returning to India.
