President attends concert celebrating 100th birthday anniversary of composer Van Cao

A special art program celebrating the 100th birthday of late musician Van Cao (1923-1995) took place at the Hanoi Opera House on August 20. President Vo Van Thuong and Party, State leaders and former leaders attended the art program. The concert, themed “Dan Chim Viet” (Flock of Vietnamese birds), organised by the Vietnam Musicians Association, featured more than 20 prominent songs by Van Cao, such as ‘My Village’, ‘The First Spring’, ‘The Marching Song’, ‘Heading to Hanoi’, and ‘Vietnamese Soldiers’.
