Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on May 3 attended a gathering in southern Ba Ria–Vung Tau province in tribute to Vietnamese revolutionaries who were imprisoned by enemy forces. The event marked the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975–2025), as well as the liberation of Con Dao (May 1, 1975–2025).
