Phu Quoc island in the southern province of Kien Giang welcomed more than 5.28 million tourists in the first 10 months of 2024, reaching 78.8% of the yearly plan and accounting for about 60% of the total tourist arrivals to the whole province. Of which, the island city received nearly 800,000 international visitors, exceeding 20% ​​of its yearly plan; earning a total revenue of 17.9 trillion VND, exceeding 5.3% of the 2024 plan.
