Pho Trach village, located in Phong Dinh ward, about 50 kilometres north from Hue city centre, is a village with a long history in Thuan Hoa and the traditional craft of weaving Bang grass (Lepironia articulata). The village has been a renowned location for the craft for hundreds of years. Nowadays, locals are upholding the Bang weaving craft by creating modern products such as conical hats, bags and purses with beautiful art, meeting high domestic and international demands.
