A Vietnam – China cross-border cycling race took place in the northern province of Quang Ninh on March 31, attracting about 300 cyclists from both countries. Jointly organised by the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Bureau of Fangchenggang city, China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the event aimed to mark the 75th anniversary of the Vietnam – China diplomatic relations (January 18, 1950–2025) and the Year of Vietnam – China Humanistic Exchange 2025.
