With 440 out of 441 deputies present voting in favour, accounting for 92.83% of all deputies, the 15th National Assembly on November 10 adopted a resolution to elect Nguyen Van Quang, a member of the Party Central Committee, as Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court for the 2021–2026 tenure. Later, Quang took the oath of office, pledging absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the people and the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and to strive to fulfil the duties entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.
