A new giant painting will be carved on the ripe rice fields along the Ngo Dong river in Tam Coc-Bich Dong tourist area of the northern province of Ninh Binh, which are used to be voted by foreign media as one of the most beautiful rice fields in Vietnam. Previously, two giant paintings created by farmers on the rice fields, namely "Co Hoi" (Festival Flags) and “Ly Ngu Vong Nguyet” (Carps Looking At the Moon), became new attractions to this famous tourist site. This year, the Tam Coc art fields continue to be renewed with the image of a buffalo herd boy playing the flute, inspired by the folk painting "Muc Đong Thoi Sao" (Flute Playing Shepherd). This creation promises to be another attractive tourism product of Ninh Binh Tourism Week planned to take place in May or June 2024. VNA Photo
