People in Van Son commune, Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province are rejoicing over the Nam Son tangerine harvest season. Nam Son tangerine is an old indigenous tangerine variety, with thin skin, thick pulp segments, juicy and has a distinct scent, which was restored in 2005. According to statistics, the province currently has 100 hectares of land cultivating this special tangerine variety, with prices for the 2024 crop ranging between 25,000 - 30,000 VND per kg.
