Since its establishment in 2019, the Mu Cang Chai cooperative has produced different agrarian products including vegetables, beetroots, and most notably, shiitake mushroom. The cooperative now has more than 7,000 square metres of mushroom growing area, with an estimated yield of 200 tonnes of shiitake mushroom in 2023.
