Nestled in the highlands of northern Vietnam's Yen Bai province, Mu Cang Chai district is rapidly emerging as a sought-after destination for eco-tourism and nature-based retreats. Emphasising sustainable forest management, the district is harnessing its extensive woodland resources to drive economic growth and attract visitors. Mu Cang Chai is home to nearly 83,000 hectares of forest, including almost 60,000 hectares of unspoiled natural woodland. Recorgnising this potential, local authorities have embraced a holistic strategy that protects biodiversity while promoting tourism. VNA/Photo by courtesy
