Autumn each year is the harvest season of Mai Son district’s custard apple, which brings joy and stable income to the district farmers. Mai Son custard apple, which received a certificate of trademark in 2018, thrives in the local soil and climate, bearing sweet, fragrant fruit with soft skin, a nice green appearance, white flesh, and fewer seeds. The district now has a total of 440 hectares growing custard apples in Co Noi, Na Bo, Hat Lot communes, yielding a total of 5,493 tonnes of fruits in this harvest season.
