At the on-going annual Southern Traditional Cake Festival in Can Tho city, 15 cooks and culinary artisans joined hands to make a banh xeo (sizzling rice pancake) with a diameter of 3 metres. This rice pancake is considered the largest ever in the Mekong Delta, made from 30 kg of rice flour, 27 kg of shrimps, 10 kg of mung beans, 20 kg of shredded coconut, 20 kg of duck meat and 65 kg of various types of vegetables.
