The Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang on July 16 launched a project to develop 1 million hectares of high-quality, low-emission rice cultivation associated with green growth in the Mekong Delta region by 2030. The province plans to carry out the project on a total acreage of ​​200,000 hectares in 12 districts and cities with a total investment of more than 596 billion VND (23 million USD) from the provincial budget, World Bank loans and private capital.
