Khe Sanh in the central province of Quang Tri is positioned to become a distinctive coffee tourism destination in Asia, according to a Dutch tourism expert. With over 25 years of experience consulting on agricultural, community-based, and sustainable tourism development across more than 20 countries, Dutch expert Harro Boekhold highly evaluated the area's potential to develop modern eco-tourism. Boekhold, who initiated the "Khe Sanh Coffee Tour" under the slogan "Make Coffee, Not War", assessed that the convergence of natural resources, historical value, cultural identity, and a large high-quality Arabica production zone provides the locality with a unique competitive edge unmatched by few destinations globally.
