Ho Chi Minh City attracts 6 million international visitors in 2024

Ho Chi Minh City welcomed 6 million international visitors in 2024, an increase of 20% compared to the previous year, reaching 100% its yearly plan. Of the figure, the number of domestic tourists is estimated to reach 38 million, up 8.6% as compared to 2023. The city bagged a tourism revenue of over 190 trillion VND (7.46 billion USD), a year on year increase of 18.8%. The city aims for 8.5 million international tourists and 45 million domestic visitors, and 260 trillion VND (10.2 billion USD) in tourism revenue in 2025. VNA Photo: Hồng Đạt
