Thousands of spectators flocked to Bach Dang Wharf in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1 to witness a full-scale rehearsal of an extraordinary drone light show over the Saigon River on the evening of April 28. A total of 10,500 drones soared into the night sky between 8:30pm 8:45pm, which is also the scheduled time for the official performance on May 1. The drone show is a highlight of the festivities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975–2025). VNA Photo: Thu Hương
