A two-kilometre railway track crossing inside Hanoi with many small cafes and houses along its sides is considered a unique feature for visitors to the capital city. Cafes along the “railway street”, which begins from Le Duan street through Tran Phu and Cua Dong streets and ends at Phung Hung street, recently have reopened after more than 2 years of closure due to the COVID-19 epidemic and traffic safety. They attract many tourists, especially young people and foreign tourists who want to have a special experience in the capital city. Sitting in a cafe by the tracks while watching the train go by gives a sense of thrill from being so adventurously close to a passing train, and the experience is described as unique and must-do.
