The traditional flower market held once a year on Hang Luoc street was opened on January 6 as the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival is approaching. Convening from the 15th to 30th days of the last lunar month (January 7-21 this year), the Hang Luoc flower market has become a popular flower market that Hanoians enjoy visiting to buy things in preparation for the Tet festival. Customers can buy not only flowers and ornamental trees but also antiques and other decorative items at the market, which stretches over Hang Luoc and its nearby streets such as Hang Ma, Hang Khoai, Hang Ruoi and Phung Hung.
