All sidewalk eateries, cafes, and iced tea stalls as well as relics sites, temples and pagodas in Hanoi were asked to close as from the mid-night of February 16 as risk remains high in the community with more COVID-19 infections reported in recent days. Residents were recommended to limit spending time outside of their homes and to follow preventive measures, notably the five-point message: wearing face masks, frequent disinfection, maintaining a safe distance, refraining from gathering, and making health declarations. Earlier, as from February 1, Hanoi shut bars, karaoke parlors and discotheques. VNA Photo
