Hang Tau Village, 20km from Moc Chau city, the northern mountainous province of Son La, is a peaceful place nestling behind high rocky mountains. The village, located on a 1-hectare valley, has only trees, animals and wooden houses, home to some 20 families of H’mong ethnic group. Hang Tau is a real pristine village which has no electricity, no phone signals, no modern technology, no traffic noise or any tourist services. The locals here even can’t speak Vietnamese nor English, living and doing farming work, shifting cultivation and raising cattle all year round. The pristine beauty of the mountains and the peaceful pace of life of the people here make Hang Tau an ideal address in the journey to discover the unique lands in Moc Chau. VNA Photo: Nguyễn Cường
