The border gates in the northern province of Lang Son saw the flow of import-export vehicles surging in the first months of 2025, as the peak harvest season for fresh fruits such as lychee, longan, jackfruit, mango, mangosteen, and durian comes to southern and some northern provinces. According to the Management Board of the Dong Dang–Lạng Sơn Border Gate Economic Zone, in the first five months, the total import-export turnover of all types via the province's border gates reached over 34 billion USD, year-on-year increase of 36%. During the period, nearly 662,000 tonnes of fresh fruits were exported via the province's border gates. The Huu Nghi International Border Gate alone saw over 179,000 tonnes exported, an increase of more than 5,200 tonnes over the same period last year. VNA Photo: Vũ Sinh
