Four Vietnamese universities have made it into the list of top universities worldwide in the 2022 QS World University Rankings by UK educational organisation Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The Vietnam National University - Hanoi and the Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City featured in Group 801-1,000 best universities globally for the fourth consecutive time. The Vietnam National University, HCM City has been placed at 398th for academic reputation. Its ranking has been improved over the past three years. Meanwhile, Ton Duc Thang University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology are named in the list for the first time, in the 1001-1200 Group and 1201 Plus Group respectively.
