Cherry blossoms are in bloom in Lung Cu commune, the northernmost place of Vietnam, in Tuyen Quang province to welcome the first ever Cherry Blossom Festival. Opening on January 3, 2026, the festival is expected to attract a large number of tourists to view vibrant pink and white blooms spreading over on dramatic mountain landscapes and join in cultural-tourist activities imbued with traditional customs of the ethnic minority groups in the northern bordering region.
